Position Summary

The Planner / Scheduler will be part of the Jacobs Field Service. In this support role, the Planner / Scheduler will be the primary point of contact for the coordination of all activities during the maintenance/construction execution phase of work. They interact with Jacobs construction sites and clients to ensure successful scheduling of activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform field walks of work packets and prepare detailed execution plans – Planned Job Packages

  • Planned Job Packages must include labor estimates, craft sequences, materials, tools, equipment required, drawings and appropriate charge numbers

  • Development of DOM’s for Planned Job Packages

  • Proficient in SAP

  • Proficient in Primavera scheduling tools

  • Interface with customer operations and engineering to acquire information necessary to prepare work package

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of field experience in planning for turnarounds, capital projects, maintenance and/or industrial construction

  • Turnaround experience required

  • Must be P6 and SAP savvy.

  • Primavera experience

  • Experience in the refinery and petroleum plant industry

  • Comprehensive understanding and application of principles theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards.

  • Commitment to safety
