E and I Tech - Mentone Gas Plant Job Summary This position is for E and I Technician located in Anadarko's Southern Region at the Mentone Gas Plant located near Mentone, Texas. The facility is currently under construction. Work ScheduleThis position is on a 40 hour / week schedule Monday - Friday and may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.Successful candidate must have residency within a 75-mile radius of Mentone, Texas. QualificationsMinimum 2+ (two) years of experience including relevant gas processing plant experience preferredAbility to troubleshoot control systems, components, end devices and other electronic / pneumatic equipment and perform repairs and maintenanceExperience in the use of computers and a basic knowledge of Word and Excel requiredKnowledge of electrical and electronic principles and associated safety requirementsExperience in maintenance and operation of natural gas engines and compressorsExperience in maintenance and operation of gas processing plant equipment including various type pumps, fans, blowers, and filters ResponsibilitiesInstall, calibrate and maintain electronic flow, temperature, level and pressure measurement equipment, analyzers, several platforms of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and distributed control system (DCS) DeltaV, DeviceNet communications, electrical and mechanical systems and equipment such as motors, pumps, switches, pneumatic control and end devices, control valves, and related input and output devices necessary for plant / gas - oil - water gathering operationsCoordinate/perform maintenance duties required to maintain operations and regulatory complianceRead and understand maintenance/operations manuals for equipment specifications parts and procedures to make proper and timely repairsMaintain effective communications, provide ideas, raise concerns, and work with other functions including plant supervision, engineering, plant operations, EandI, other maintenance employees, clerical staff, and contractorsTrain / assist in training operations personnel and less experienced techs in troubleshooting / control systems work as assigned.Help develop and maintain EandI troubleshooting and maintenance procedures as assigned.Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with Anadarko's Core ValuesEnsure job duties are carried out in a safe manner, with due regard for the environment and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
