We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Water System Data Analyst within our Permian Resources New Mexico Delaware Basin Business Unit group based in Houston, TX, Carlsbad, NM, or Midland, TX.
Apply advanced algorithmic techniques, artificial intelligence, and computational intelligence methods to build, maintain, and improve on long term and short term strategic water demand planning decision systems/processes. Collaborate with all teams involved with our NM assets to select the relevant sources of information and formulate the right questions and problems. Identify what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes and available automation tools. Present and depict the rationale of data analysis findings in easy to understand terms for the business unit. Present back results that contradict common belief, if needed. Provide on-going tracking, monitoring, and improving of performance of deployed decision systems and statistical models. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Statistics.
3 years of related experience.
Associated oil and gas general field knowledge is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the proven ability to think outside the normal parameters.
Demonstrated ability to consistently produce results in a multi-tasking environment with multiple clients and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation. Knowledgeable in existing and emerging technologies associated with computer science, automation, electrical. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
