The successful candidate will hold the following responsibilities within the IT Security & Networks team:

Review technology and security projects, making recommendations with regard to product selection, configuration and design. Design and oversee the implementation of security networking components at the internal and external network perimeter including technologies such as IDS/IPS, Next Generation firewalls, Port Authentication (using CISCO ISE), Web filtering technologies as well as deep packet inspection devices. Review the current threat landscape and integrate threat information and assess impacts our enterprise current state. Understand current enterprise technology architecture and business processes with the goal of addressing security issues and providing an informed opinion to leadership teams. Implementation of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, endpoint protection, and forensic analysis. Recommend, coordinates and implements security technical controls to ensure policies and processes are performing as intended Develop technical and security specifications for the targeted applications/workloads in the service catalog Think long-term, develop strategic designs/solutions and think critically across the assigned application portfolio, current technology backdrop while remaining organizationally astute. Advanced knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, endpoint protection, and forensic analysis. Experience conducting security assessment or working in vulnerability management and collaborating with law enforcement and security firms in the investigation of cyber security events. Strong working knowledge of security related standards/regulations/control frameworks such as NIST, SOX, ISO2700X, COBIT, and/or PCI DDS.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent; or 10 years comparable work/military experience Proven experience building security reference architecture for on-premise, all-in cloud deployments, and hybrid scenarios Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as Endpoint Protection (DLP/Whitelisting/HIPS), WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM. Strong knowledge of networking including large scale network segmentation and emerging technologies in the Software Defined Networking space Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, Single-Sign On, and PKI/Certificate Services a plus Familiarity with compliance & security standards (NIST, SOX, ISO2700X, COBIT, and/or PCI DDS) Has previous experience and knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and/or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) environments and supporting and defending these environments to keep them safe, secure, and resilient against current and emerging cyber threats. Experience integrating Identity and Access management solutions for authentication and authorization. Experience integrating security controls with cloud-based solutions Experience implementing security solutions that meet Oil and Gas specific challenges.
