Contracts Manager VI

Responsible for all contracting responsibilities and for ensuring that duties are performed in a timely, efficient manner that meets Jacobs professional standards.
Administers activities associated with contracts for services, purchase of equipment, materials, or products.
Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities
Provides for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports, advises management and project personnel of contractual rights and obligations
Implements contract modifications, data management and coordination with subcontractors
Reviews subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements.
15 years of experience required, BA or BS or equivalent experience in related field. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering a plus
5 years of international experience is required
5 years experience with a major EPC is preferred
Strong understanding of major construction packages, change management, construction terminology.
Must be well versed in International Contracts, with strong knowledge related to Mega Project execution, Surety Instruments, Risk Management, Claims Mitigation and Claims Negotiations.
Must accept long term field assignments at construction sites.
