The Power Train Engineer Program is designed to transform talented engineering graduates into knowledgeable & proficient field engineers who can meet the challenges of a demanding yet rewarding industry.

You will spend the first 14 months of the 36-month Power Train program training to become a hydraulic fracturing field engineer. During this time you will participate in classroom and field training to develop your technical and operational skills and understanding of hydraulic fracturing as well as the role of a field engineer. During the last 22 months you will both perform your duties as a hydraulic fracturing field engineer, and you will cross-train in at least two other service lines. The Power Train program is designed to develop your technical, operational, leadership, and financial skills to prepare you for future leadership positions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

-Bachelor of Science in an engineering or science discipline (some examples are mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, petroleum engineering, geology, electrical engineering, chemical engineering).

Skills:

-Excellent communication, technical writing, and public speaking skills.

-Strong attention to detail.

-Strong problem-solving skills.

-Strong technical understanding of the planning and implementation of various stimulation/fracturing techniques.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite.

-Willing to relocate to field locations.

Work Experience:

-No minimum experience required.

Certifications/Licenses:

-Have and maintain a valid driver-s license.

Environment:

-Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, to include 24-hour call duty, long work days, and/or irregular work hours.

-Able to work in a team environment.

-Able to work in extreme weather conditions.

-Able to work at various heights, in confined spaces, and climb stairs.
