Position Overview:

Quad Williamson is seeking an Offset Press Assistant 1 (JOGGER). Position involves repetitive, neat, organized stacking of printed product loose bundles onto pallets in various formations. This position is very physical and involves repetitive lifting, squatting, turning, twisting and standing throughout at 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities Inc:

  • Produce a neatly stacked pallet with the correct run and amount as required by the Print Order/Tally Sheet Ensure that the correct pallet tickets are placed on the pallet.

  • Cleaning up of press area to include sweeping the floor, picking up dropped product, and wiping downequipment, refilling spray bottles, pushing carts and auxiliary equipment around and disposing of waste in the baler area using the waste carts

  • Stacking the pallets in such a manner as to ensure that the product will not fall

  • Assist the press crew in make-ready

  • Assisting press crew with other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift, twist, bend, and squat repetitively for up to twelve hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 25 lbs. and bring it to ground level via squatting/bending with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to reach overhead for stacked pallets (weighing 45-50lbs each) and bring a single pallet to the ground with both arms while using leg muscles to support body with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to maneuver a manual pallet jack with a full load of product on it, weighing up to2000 lbs. via pushing and pulling with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to push waste carts weighing up to 100lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders with or without reasonable accommodation..

  • Must be able to work standing for twelve hour shift on concrete floors with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to calculate basic math so as to stack pallets correctly.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English for safety and training purposes.

  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that involves dealing with petroleum-based inks, and paper dust.

  • Must be able and willing to get dirty.

  • Will be exposed to loud noise levels.

  • Must wear hearing protection, steel toed shoes/boots daily.
